First, get Spyic set up. For target Android devices, you'll have to download and install Spyic. If the target device is iOS based, you need its iCloud credentials. Once the setup is finished successfully, log in to the Spyic control panel.
You'll see the SIM Card option in the selection panel to the left. Click on it to load up the SIM Card window. Here, you can view the SIM card details include the carrier and IMEI number. You also view present and past SIM card locations on an interactive map.
Additionally, you have the option to sign up for a SIM Card Alert. If the old SIM Card is replaced with a new one, you'll receive an email. This is an easy way to tell if your target has changed their phone number.
Do I need to root or jailbreak the target phone?
No, you don't have to root or jailbreak the target device. Note that not all tracking apps out there allow you to find out the device location based on the SIM card.
Stealth Mode
Spyic is one of the stealthiest apps ever developed. The iOS version is web-based and completely undetectable. The Android version, once installed, can be hidden. It runs in the background and uses next to no resources. It's next to impossible to detect.
What Can You Learn From the SIM Card Tracker?
There are multiple uses for the SIM Card tracker. If the target device is lost, you'll still be able to track it remotely. The IMEI number can also be sent to a carrier to track down lost phones.
You'll know if someone - like a child or an employee - changes their phone number without informing you. Spyic will record and send the details of the new SIM Card.
Finally, you can track a device's present location with the SIM Card data. This is not to be confused with GPS-based or Wi-Fi based location tracking. It's a separate, rare feature.
